With simple ingredients and easy preparation, it’s perfect for those with dietary restrictions who don’t want to give up on flavor.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups (tea) rice flour or gluten-free flour blend
- 2 cups (tea) sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup (tea) soybean oil
- 250ml fresh orange juice
- 1 tbsp baking powder
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.
- Grease a medium-sized pan (20 to 25cm in diameter).
- Blend all ingredients in a blender and, last, add the baking powder.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake in a low oven at 180°C (356°F) for 25 to 30 minutes.
Additional Tips:
To get a fluffy cake, it’s essential to blend the ingredients and add the baking powder last, using a spoon.
If you want to add an orange and mint syrup on top of the finished cake, it will be delicious.
Culinary Secret:
The secret to any tasty recipe is the quality of the ingredients. So, always use fresh orange juice as it gives the cake a more intense and natural flavor.
Also, if you prefer, you can substitute soybean oil for coconut oil, which will make the cake even more delicious.
