Ingredients:
- 500g of sour polvilho
- 1 cup (200ml) of boiling water
- ¾ cup (150ml) of boiling oil
- 1 egg
Instructions:
- In a pan, bring the oil and water to a boil.
- Pour the hot mixture over the polvilho and stir with a spoon until it cools enough to mix with your hands.
- When the dough is cooler, add the egg and mix well until you get a smooth dough.
- Shape the dough into “snakes” and cut to the desired size.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes or until golden and crunchy.
Additional Tips:
If you want a special flavor, add herbs like oregano or rosemary to the dough, creating flavorful biscuits.
